Still shooting pictures from the hide at WWT Arundel of the snipe and geese, I was dissappointed that the snipe do not show up.
For an interlude, here is Naboo!
I try again to photograph the snipe....
It is very difficult to see the snipe, even with bins....but I had hoped the zoom would at least show brown blobs.
The egret wandered back into view again.
So I took some pictures of the egret - which I knew would come out.
With the fullest zoom, you might just see one of the snipe beside the lake bank....

Are snipes especially shy creatures? That's a great shot of Naboo-- he's looking right at me. 😀
