Next in WWT Arundel, a troop of Canada Geese...
We then went to Swanbourne lake, so I naturally photogrpahed pigeons.
A few seagulls decided to jump into shot, but mostly pigeons.
Someone had dumped a pile of seed near a bench - so we enjoyed watching them - until a couple of uncontrolled kids and a rude mother appeared and the kids were 'encouraged' to disturb and chase away the pigeons.
They didn't care that someone had kindly put seed down for them - nor that we were enjoying watching them eat it and photographing them.... It was just 'pigeons to be chased' to that family of uncaring townies.
As we walked home, we passed Goggles in his pond - with a mallard for company.
Goggles proudly stood by the painting of himself. I wonder why noone has ever brought a companion for him, and he is forced to hang with only mallards?
It seems that people have lost all sense of civilization.
ReplyDeletei guess parents think it funny to chase 'pests' in their eyes that are pigeons to other peoples.
