This is the last picture I took of the Egyptian geese family at Wakehurst. Next I found another bird to photograph.

....who was investigating a previous occupants leftovers.
That's kind of amazing that they have ten babies. How many eggs do they normally lay? Maybe more than the usual number survived because they're in a protected environment.
