One does not usually encounter a farm duck at the WWT reserve....though one does occasionally spot a mute swan nesting in whatever it feels is suitable territory.

On my way to a cuppa, I looked - and finally spotted the eiders! Post cuppa on my second stroll around, I reencountered my new pals the Bewicks - only they were somewhat busy feeding on this meeting.

I tried - and tried - to get a picture of their faces - but kept getting bums instead! It became a question of which bum would stick up and which would return to the surface....til finally I got heads!
