BIRD NEWS:720

Baby moorhen was getting the hang of walking on pond lily eventually.

We were warned about swans.....though we only saw them on the lake. After we had strolled around the small country park and had coffee, we set out southward on the Downs Link trail to enjoy the nature provided on the route and go a little further than usual.

We walked into West Grinstead where we found a lot of railway memorabilia - and a bird poster situated inside a train carriage.

There were several posters and info boards dotted about the area where old siding, old carriage, old signal box, old hand crane and old railway rations were viewable. We saw the buzzard mentioned too....or one of them.

We then head towards PARTRIDGE Green...though we didnt see a partridge.

Back home, and Bigbeak was waiting in my tree still...as was brother Baby Pidge.

Liz and I were soon on another trip - this time thru Angmering Park Estate woodland to Arundel. On route, we saw Goggles in his pond.
