BIRD NEWS:684

There were a lot of real pigeons at the park the placard was situated in.

I sort of like pigeons, so took more than one piccie.

On our next trip, Liz and I went to Leonardslee Gardens. We wandered around and I spotted a field full of black birds...not blackbirds, but crows, rooks, ravens, jackdaws....some such birds that are black. From their behaviour, we decided that the must be rooks.

Back home, and the jackdaws were enjoying my chimney and roof.

Along the road, our local flock of starlings sat chattering in the tree.

Our next trip with birds included was to Nymans in the morning and back to Leonardslee in the lunch-arvo. At Nymans I took a few shots - including this 'robin'.

Look what we spotted - a blackbird - picking about among the spring bulbs.

The RSPB Birdwatch results are in - find out more HERE

  1. You sort of like pigeons. :D

That's a very big robin. They must feed him well over there.
