BIRD NEWS: 810

Naboo played peek-a-boo a lot.

Naboo had a LOT of pictures and videos taken during his last few days residency within the Sande Hotel for Parrots.

He so oftenly had his head in the seed tub, though.

But of course, I went elsewhere a day or two after his departure - as it was Saturday and time for another excursion with my best friend Liz.

Here are a few views of Wakehurst Place. We had intended to go to Sheffield Park, however there were no car park slots left, so we doubled back to the next furthest out destination.

There were mostly only mallard and seagull on the first lake we passed, but the autumn colors made it worth a shot or two.

We entered the woodland area which had been refurbished. Gone were the old settlement display and present were twig-craft wildlife. Here are a wren and an owl.

  1. Those are great pictures of Wakehurst. That twiggy owl is slightly scary. 😀

  2. It kinda reminds me of Blair Witch Project. 😀
