BIRD NEWS:172

Chackie was on the perch eating suet ball and homemade bread, and I accidentally captured Curio on the bird bath with a mouthful of second-nest material. It was not long before Chackie wanted a drink, so dislodged Curio in order to get one.

...and SUCCESS! Chackie grabs a chunk of bread and flies away with it.

May continued and Curio was found to be gathering large beakfuls of nesting material. This might have been good or neutral news; however, the nesting site chosen on this occasion is in a somewhat dangerous neighborhood. The bush being used is also used as a cat shelter from rain and dozing spot.
